Cultural Spaces for All in Prespa Region

Prespa is a land where nature, history, and people intertwine. Famous for its stunning lake and rich traditions, the region today is stepping forward as a vibrant space of cultural innovation and creativity.

Through the Cultural Spaces for All project, supported by UNESCO, culture is not only being preserved but also reimagined.

Young people are at the heart of this transformation. By engaging their talents and energy, the project nurtures future cultural leaders while promoting equality and inclusion among genders, ethnicities, and social groups.

Over the past two months, extensive research was conducted on the cultural values of Prespa. Numerous meetings and discussions were held with representatives of NGOs, the business community, and individual cultural workers and artists.

Through this work, a clear vision has emerged – one we are committed to making a reality: Prespa as a vibrant space where tradition and creativity coexist, where cultural heritage connects people across generations, sparks dialogue, and inspires collaboration.

Cultural Spaces for All’ is supported by UNESCO, through the joint project “Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans” (CC4WBs). Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans” (CC4WBs) is a project funded by the European Union that aims to foster dialogue in the Western Balkans by enhancing the cultural and creative sectors for increased socio-economic impact.
